What is useful to send

• A quote you want checked. A photo or PDF of the itemized quote, the brand and model, the purchase year, and your state. We will not publish anything that identifies you.
• A number you think is wrong. The article’s address and the figure. Corrections are logged publicly on the corrections page.
• A document we should read. A warranty, a fee schedule, a policy form or a statute that changes an answer.

What we cannot do

We are not a contractor, a lawyer or an insurance agent and we do not give individual advice. We can tell you what a document says and how the math works for a stated situation; the decision is yours. We do not accept sponsored content, product placements or affiliate arrangements.
